I normally use a safety razor to get the best and safest finish in the intimate areas (let's be honest, no one likes an open blade down there). When you want that ultra-smooth, skin-level finish at home, a safety razor is definitely the way to go.
However, these are precision tools. While they offer a superior finish, they do have a learning curve. If you’re using one at home, it’s much easier to have a partner help you out with the angles you simply can’t see.
These are the razors I recommend:
Gentle Touch: Because these plastic razors are lightweight, you might be tempted to press down. Don't. Use a very light touch and let the sharpness of the blade do the work. Pressing too hard is the fastest way to get razor burn.
